College of Engineering Operator Committee

The Operator Committee is made up of departmental representative from the College of Engineering. These representatives provide computer users in their departments with computer related information regarding training, network, new software, as well as information about other aspects of computer use in the College. Since its formation in the mid-1980's, the members and duties of the Committee have changed, but the focus has remained the same: the emphasis remains on providing pertinent information to computer users in the College of Engineering. The responsibilities of the Representatives increase as the use of computers within the College of Engineering increases.

The Operator Committee meets every other month, in Stavely Conference Room, 202 Hammond Bldg. The meetings are organized by the staff of Electronic and Computer Services, in the College of Engineering. The Engineering Training Lab staff provide information to the Operator Representatives regarding specific training, network and support issues.
