| Purpose:
This system was purchased
and deployed between May and July of 2006. Its primary purpose
and function is to support those courses in the Engineering curricula
that can use High Performance Computing to enhance the educational
experience of undergraduates and graduates. Faculty desiring
to use the system for courses need only follow the "-- CLICK HERE To Login Securely --" link below to
register a course; course registration must be completed at the
beginning of each semester.
The system will also be accessible
to graduate and faculty research on an as-available basis; scheduling
and priority queuing software will be used to manage accessibility
of the College's High Performance Computing System.
Course Registration:

Faculty must register each course for which they
desire to use this resource. Registration may take place
anytime during a semester. Students registered as of the
drop/add period will have continual semester access to the College
HPC Cluster. Course registration will expire according the
the policy and procedures listed at the below referenced link.

Faculty Member Requesting User Access for Personal Research or Undergraduate/Graduate Student Research

During any given semester, priority of the
College's HPC Cluster's cycles will be given to students registerd
for courses for which faculty use the above coures registration
procedure.
