This organization’s primary missions include the following:
Develop and execute strategic plans that are consistent with the Dean’s vision for the College of Engineering
Execute those elements of the College’s strategic plan that focus on improving the communications and computing environment to meet the needs of faculty, staff and students
Manage NCTS' budget and projects’ billing
Coordinate activities amongst the four functional groups
Meet with the College’s faculty Academic Computing Committee to ascertain how NCTS may better serve their departments’ networking and computing near-term and future needs
Work with all elements of the University’s central Information Technology Services on communications and computing activities such as policy development, collaboration opportunities, security management
